Day 3 at OLI Camp: Dancing, Climbing, and Creating

May 3, 2023 -

Day 3 at the Outside Looking In Empowerment Camp was packed with activities that fostered community spirit, creativity, and fun. Our campers started the day with a community dance practice, honing their skills and practicing the dance routine for their upcoming performances at Meridian Hall.

In the afternoon, campers participated in various fun activities, such as creating arts and crafts, playing foosball, ping pong, and pool. The campers also enjoyed healthy meals throughout the day, fueling them for all of the activities ahead.

The homework club was an excellent way for campers to catch up on their studies and help one another out with assignments.

Indoor rock climbing was also a huge hit, as campers tried their hand at this exhilarating activity.

Our rising stars dance group continued to work hard, practicing their dance routine to perfection. With the countdown to May 13th on, the excitement and anticipation were palpable. We can't wait to see all of our talented performers take the stage at Meridian Hall.

Overall, day 3 at the OLI Empowerment Camp was another huge success. We are proud of our campers for their hard work, dedication, and sense of community spirit. Stay tuned for more updates as we continue to empower Indigenous youth through the arts and experiential learning.
